Dreamina - Seedance 2 Launch
Official launch trailer for Dreamina AI's Seedance 2.0 model. A regular guy steps into one fully-rendered world after another - and the prompt bar at the bottom keeps rewriting it underneath him.
Synopsis
A modern man in a red flannel shirt and glasses walks into a medieval battlefield and finds himself face-to-face with an armoured knight on a field of cavalry, fortress walls and burning grass behind him. The prompt bar slides into the lower frame and the world begins to rewrite. Cut to a black steam train cutting across an ochre plain, mounted cowboys riding alongside, two duellists trading shots on the roof of the engine - until the prompt reads "Add a wellness retreat" and the genre shifts. A wet rooftop chase under blue sodium light. An armoured soldier in the rain raising a sidearm directly to camera. The prompt reads "Turn it into a love story" and the next frame is a sunlit garden wedding under a flower arch, petals in the air, guests applauding. A katana flips end over end through a clear sky over a pagoda. Two samurai - one gold, one white - sit across a table preparing sashimi until the prompt reads "Switch to a legendary hero fight" and a caped superhero is suddenly trading blows with a giant white ape across a stacked-glass skyline. The skyline collapses into a stop-motion cardboard model city. Whales drift past bioluminescent jellyfish in a deep ocean shaft of light. A line of native riders watches a black locomotive cross Monument Valley. The film ends in black on the line "For Your Next Prompt" and resolves to the DreaminaAI signature.
The film was produced as the official launch trailer for Dreamina AI's Seedance 2.0 model in partnership with ByteDance. The brief was to demonstrate two capabilities at once: cinematic-grade single-shot generation across radically different genres, and the new model's ability to take a freeform prompt mid-take and resolve it inside the same world the audience is already watching. Each beat was written as a hard genre register - period battle, Western action, cyberpunk action, garden romance, samurai still-life, kaiju city wide, stop-motion miniature, deep-ocean nature, frontier landscape - so the rewrite reads visibly against the world it just replaced. The piece was distributed as the public-facing introduction to Seedance 2.0.

The Brief
Produce the official launch trailer for Dreamina AI's Seedance 2.0 model in partnership with ByteDance - a film that demonstrates the model's single-shot generation quality and its mid-take prompt-rewrite capability across radically different visual registers, all inside one continuous public-facing piece.
The Approach
Nine distinct genre registers staged back to back, each set up clearly in its own period and palette before the prompt bar slides in to rewrite it. A single recurring modern character (red flannel + glasses) is dropped into the medieval beat to give the audience a face to track inside the otherwise-impersonal worlds. The chat-bar UI was integrated as a diegetic element rather than overlaid in post, so the audience sees the rewrite happen inside the frame the model is generating. The piece closes on a black title card and the DreaminaAI signature.
The Result
Distributed as the official public-facing launch trailer for Seedance 2.0 on Dreamina. Used by ByteDance across the model rollout. Established the Dor Brothers as the production studio of choice for native-AI brand work at platform scale.
Storyboard
06 SCInto the Battlefield
Wide Battle / Knight Close-Up / Modern Man on Field
A POV through a wooden palisade at full charge - mounted cavalry pouring past, infantry running through dust, watchtowers and burning grass behind. The first cut tightens to a bearded knight in plate armour mid-shout, sword raised against a battlefield of swinging blades. The next cut introduces the audience's anchor: a regular man in a red flannel shirt and glasses, modern, out of place, standing eye-to-eye with a cross-marked knight in dark armour while a kneeling knight watches at his feet. The fortress walls behind them resolve into cinematic full focus. The film tells you in one sequence: this is a real-feeling world, and the person inside it is you.
Production Note
Dozens of moving figures - mounted, on foot, in armour - held coherent across a single sustained generation. Inserting the modern character into the same plate as the period extras is the hardest test in the cut, since the audience reads any wardrobe drift instantly. The plaid-shirt anchor was locked as a single high-effort character pass and the surrounding crowd was treated as ambient generation.

Tracking Wide / Western Action / Mid-Take Rewrite
Hard cut to bright daylight. A black steam locomotive cuts through Monument Valley at full speed, dust rising in long parallel trails along both flanks as a posse of mounted cowboys gallops alongside. A direct-from-the-stack POV shows two figures in long coats and broad hats fighting on the roof of the engine. The prompt overlay reads "Add a wellness retreat". A back-of-shoulder duel POV holds the duellist mid-aim through the dust. The Western genre is given the full beat before the next rewrite lands.
Production Note
The duel was the calibration scene for the model - two coherent figures fighting on a moving surface for the full duration of the shot, with mounted riders in the deep background staying in matched gait. The prompt bar was placed at peak action so the rewrite reads as an interruption of the genre rather than a transition between shots.

02.04Soldier in the Rain - Turn It Into a Love Story
Wet Rooftop / Soldier Close / Garden Wedding
The frame snaps to a dark wet rooftop. A black-armoured figure runs flat-out across pooled water under blue sodium light, the city below in soft bokeh. Cut to a tight close-up: an armoured soldier in a black ballistic helmet aims a sidearm directly at camera, rain sheeting off the visor, his face contorted in rage. The prompt slides in: "Turn it into a love story". The next frame is a wedding. A sunlit garden, a flower arch, a bride and groom mid-kiss while two rows of guests applaud. The prompt updates to "Switch" and the next cut takes them out.
Production Note
Three completely different lighting setups inside fifteen seconds - cool blue night rain, harsh-helmet-light close-up, then warm midday sun on petals - is the failure register most generation pipelines flatten. The prompt rewrite is what licenses the cut: the audience accepts a hard register break because the film just told them the system is doing it.

03.03Samurai Sushi - Switch to a Legendary Hero Fight
Sky Sword / Locked Domestic / Two-Shot Garden
A katana spins end over end through a clear blue sky above a Japanese pagoda, cherry blossoms drifting in. Cut to a samurai in polished steel armour at a wooden garden table, a portable stove and a wok beside him, a sheathed katana on the bench - he is calmly chopping vegetables next to a plated arrangement of sashimi. Cut to a two-shot: a gold-armoured samurai and a white-armoured samurai sit across the table from each other, the wok between them. The prompt overlay reads "Switch to a legendary hero fight" and the camera prepares to leave them.
Production Note
Mixing fully-articulated samurai armour with a camp stove and a plate of sushi is exactly the absurdity register the model is asked to hold without breaking. The two-armour two-shot is the harder test - identical armour patterns differentiated only by colour and silhouette across a sustained generation, which is where AI normally drifts.

04.03City, Cardboard, Ocean, Frontier
Kaiju Wide / Stop-Motion Miniature / Deep Ocean / Frontier Wide
A wide aerial of a stacked-glass skyline. A caped superhero in red rockets between towers. Across the gap, a giant white-furred ape grips a building, smoke columns rising from the streets below. Cut: the same skyline rendered as a stop-motion cardboard miniature, the buildings tipping over against a hardwood floor. Cut: deep underwater. Two whales drift through a blue shaft of light, a cluster of bioluminescent jellyfish floating around them. Cut: red sandstone Monument Valley at midday, a black locomotive crossing in the deep middle distance, a line of native riders standing on a rock ledge in the foreground watching it pass. Four wholly different worlds in less than twenty seconds.
Production Note
The four registers in this block are the showcase for the model - photoreal skyline, physical-craft stop motion, biolume nature, and clean Western landscape, each held for one sustained beat at full frame quality. They were ordered specifically to maximise palette contrast at every cut, so the audience reads the rewrite even without the prompt UI on screen.

Title Card / DreaminaAI Signature
Hard cut to black. The line "FOR YOUR NEXT PROMPT" types out in clean white sans-serif, holds, and resolves into the DreaminaAI signature. The film stops moving for the first time since the opening battlefield.
Production Note
Closing on stillness and a single typed line - after ninety seconds of register-jumping action - is the structural choice. The trailer earns the brand mark by spending the entire runtime proving it.
